TGIF: Movie of the week
For me, looking for movies to chill on Netflix can be a daunting task. I am not quite sure how the algorithm works but I found this movie and it was a good watch. The storyline is not new but sometimes you just want to relax with a feel-good movie and "How to Get Over a Breakup" was that for me. The movie is set in the city of Lima, Peru and it's about a young lady known as Maria Fe whose boyfriend breaks up with her over the phone, the movie reflects the 5 stages of grief (denial, anger, negotiation, depression, and acceptance) and how she is able to move on with the help of her three friends. My favorite thing about the movie was the beautiful city, I feel like being in a city with so many vibrant colors will make me constantly happy. Maria's house design was equally beautiful, I fell in love with the aesthetics.
